Goals
The goal of this grant is to provide the proper funding in order to get the video broadcasting “pathway” up and running. The grant money would be used for equipment as well as textbooks for the different classes. The money should be spread out over two or three years in order to stay ahead of the technology curve. The goals of this grant will be accomplished after the third year of funding. After three years, the four video broadcasting classes will be operating with sufficient equipment and textbooks. All students who are interested in anything from basic movie making to students who are looking to go into the field of video broadcasting will be able to complete their required “pathway” in video broadcasting
Objectives
The main objectives for this grant are:
1. Convert technology lab into a video broadcasting lab.
2. Outfit the video broadcasting lab with the required equipment and curriculum to follow the state’s standards.
3. Offer a complete video broadcasting “pathway” for all students interested at Evans High School.
This grant has the opportunity to affect approximately 125 students each year. The students must complete 3 courses in the “pathway” to be considered a pathway completer. The success of the grant will be measured according to the number of pathway completers by the end of the third year.
